The Clan of the Snake. Cunning and deceitful, the Snake has little regard for fame or honor. Members of the clan prefer working in the shadows and using guerilla tactics rather than open warfare.
This Clan benefits from harassment tactics and an aggressive hit and run playstyle. Additionally, the Stolen Lore allows adaptability for otherwise adverse situations.
Starting Bonuses[ | ]
- You start with your warchief, the young Signy.
- The Skirmisher Camp is an exclusive building of the clan, it allows to recruit Skirmishers that can go through neutrals foes without being detected.
- The clan doesn't have access to Fame. Signy grows up, getting stronger and unlocking new abilities instead.
- You can use scorched earth to gain military advantage and steal resources from neutral zones. You can burn zones as Signy grows stronger
- You can steal Knowledge from any other clan you have encountered.
Bonuses[ | ]
- The Clan of the Snake does not have access to Fame nor the Fame Victory. Instead, Signy grows more powerful over time.
Specific bonuses:
- Age 16 (801) : Raised by Wolves
- Signy gains Cloaked. When Signy uses Scorched Earth, all creatures (Excluding neutral factions or special enemies) in that zone flee to adjacent zones and reveal these in the process.
- Age 17 (802) : Shadow of the Wild
- Signy is 50% stronger. Scorched Earth can be used on 2 zones at the same time.
- Age 18 (803) : Tears of the Earth
- Signy can use Scorched Earth now in Enemy territory.
- Burned zone: All production in that tile is reduced by 50%. Additionally, Snake's unit's and buildings gain +50% attack power while they are in a tile that is affected by Scorched Earth. While Signy is casting Scorched Earth, her defense is increased by 100%. When not in allied territory Signy also loots resources.
Lore Tree[ | ]
Your Woodcutters will produce 20% more Wood.
Food Silos gain a 10% Food production bonus. Also reduces Food Silo upgrade cost by 50%.

Increases all your military units' attack power by 20%.
Skirmishers can attack enemy production buildings and houses to steal the resources they contain.
Gain +3 Happiness if you have a Warchief and +1 Happiness per upgraded military camp.
Improves your Warchief's attack and defense by 25%.
Improves your military units' attack by 10% against Draconic units and by 30% against other mystical creatures. Also increases Military Experience gains by 50% for each mystical creature killed.
Miners extract ore from deposits 30% faster.
Unlocks the Lighthouse.
Increases Sailors' resource production by 25%.
Your Trade Routes produce +100% Kröwns.
Merchants produce +20% more Kröwns. You can trade even when at war. When unit's are using cloaked on Neutral Faction zones, all enemy clans' relationship with this faction slowly worsens.
Increases Loremaster production by 40%. Your next Carved Stone is free.
Reduces prices on the Marketplace by 50% and stock replenishment is 20% faster.
Trade Routes earn 20% more Kröwns. Relations with neutral factions improve 20% faster.

The clan of the snake has access to a unique lore, the Black Market. This makes trading with enemy clans very effective since you get 4.5 Kröwns per 6 Food or Wood you send, while avoiding to give them any resources. One fully upgraded Woodcutter in the forest yields you 7.29 Wood and even a fully upgraded Fisherman (with silo lvl 2) yields you 7.2 Food. When we take into account that one Trading Post (lvl 1) costs 0.375 Kröwns in instant upkeep, this results in one Woodcutter effectively generating 5.09 Kröwns. Conquest[ | ]
In "conquest" mode, all clans play a series of 11 maps. The first, middle, and last maps in the sequence give hard-coded, clan-specific bonuses; the other maps randomly generate generic bonuses (which may or may not affect clan-specific units/buildings). The special bonuses for this individual clan are as follows:
- Skirmishers +50% attack power and defense.
- Signy gets +20% attack power and defense, and +25 health.
- The limit of simultaneous Scorched Earth zones is multiplied by 2.
