Led by Torfin, an ancient leader who returned to help his progeny, the Clan of the Ox is known for its tremendous might and unrelenting devotion to its ancestors. While they may not be the fastest starters, once they've gained some momentum, they can crush anyone and anything in their way.
Clan of the Ox is a military focused clan that can form one of the most powerful armies in the game. Torfin is extremely powerful but also very expensive compared to other warchiefs, so care must be taken to ensure his survival.
Starting Bonuses[ | ]
- Your Warchief is the powerful Torfin. He can find Ancestral equipment from Ancient battlegrounds and equip them to become even stronger.
- Torfin's Throne produces +2 while Torfin is not summoned
- Your units are tougher, larger and eat 10% more than the other clans.
- Your units have a +15% attack power and defence bonus.
- Specialized civilian units have a +40% base production bonus, except loremasters.
- Non-upgraded buildings can hold only one unit, and houses hold fewer people.
Fame Bonuses[ | ]
- 200 Fame : Military Pressure
- Every non-villager unit receives a 4% production bonus for each military unit you control.
- 500 Fame : The True Hero
- Unlocks Ram ability for Torfin, which can target an enemy building with a powerful charge. It causes Torfin to run towards it and destroy it in one headbutt, causing fear amongst enemy units on the way. A few buildings are immune to this attack : non-clan buildings, carved stone and Townhall.
Lore Tree[ | ]
Your Woodcutters will produce 20% more Wood.
Food Silos gain a 10% Food production bonus. Also reduces Food Silo upgrade cost by 50%.
Increases your Healer's healing speed by 50%.
Increases all your military units' attack power by 20%.
Idle military units in your territory gain Military Experience. Upgrading Training Camp costs 30% of its normal costs.
Increases you civilians' attack and your Defense Towers' resistance by 30%.
Gain +3 Happiness if you have a Warchief and +1 Happiness per upgraded military camp.
Torfin gains +5% attack power and defense for each discovered Ancestral Equipment.
Whenever a unit dies in the same zone as Torfin, his health slowly regenerates by 10% of the dead unit's max health.
Improves your military units' attack by 10% against Draconic units and by 30% against other mystical creatures. Also increases Military Experience gains by 50% for each mystical creature killed.
Miners extract ore from deposits 30% faster.
Unlocks the Lighthouse.
Increases Sailors' resource production by 25%.
Your Trade Routes produce +100% Kröwns.
Your Merchants will produce 20% more Kröwns.
Reduces prices on the Marketplace by 50% and stock replenishment is 20% faster.
Trade Routes earn 20% more Kröwns. Relations with neutral factions improve 20% faster.
Relic[ | ]
Aegir : Torfin can use Provocation : All enemy units and towers target Torfin during a short period and his defense is increased by 100% for 6 seconds.
Tips and Tricks[ | ]

Since Military Training does not give military expirence for idle military units anymore, you can subsitute it by getting Torfin and the Bodyguard from the Military Line "Leadership", which, by being in the same Zone as Torfin, produces military expierience by itself and for each additional military unit in the same zone.
Conquest[ | ]
In "conquest" mode, all clans play a series of 11 maps. The first, middle, and last maps in the sequence give hard-coded, clan-specific bonuses; the other maps randomly generate generic bonuses (which may or may not affect clan-specific units/buildings). The special bonuses for this individual clan are as follows:
- Destroying your buildings earns you back their building cost. Likewise destroying enemy buildings with Ram.
- All units gain 25 health.
- Torfin can summon his own shadow to follow him everywhere. (His shadow is an additional combat unit which mirrors his stats.)
