Overview
Intro
The Clan of the Kraken knows first hand how dangerous the sea can be.
They worship the gigantic Creature, fearing it's brutal might, honoring it's instinctual knowledge, and using its powers when he deigns bestow them.
Starting Bonuses
- No commercial Victory. No port. No Lighthouse. Can build Fishery on lake tiles and beaches to assign fishermen.
- +50% colonising and Wood building cost on non coastal zone. -30% Attack Power on non coastal zone.
- Can build Hörgr to assign Norns. Only female vikings can become Norns. Replaces Brewery.
- Norns produce Happiness and Wyrd (new resource).
- Wyrd may activate special abilities.
- The Clan of the Kraken starts with 400 Wyrd.
Fame Bonuses
- 200 Fame : Future Sight
- 500 Fame : Howl from The Sea Master
- Whenever you kill military units on enemy or neutral zones, they have 20% chance to become Spectral Warriors under your control (max 5).
- Spectral warriors bring unhappiness to the zone controller.
Lore Tree
Your Woodcutters will produce 20% more Wood.
Food Silos gain a 10% Food production bonus. Also reduces Food Silo upgrade cost by 50%.
Increases your Healer's healing speed by 50%.
-20% required Happiness based on your population.
Increases all your military units' attack power by 20%. Reduces the cost of military units by 15%. Each military camp gives +1 Warband.
Increases you civilians' attack and your Defense Towers' resistance by 30%.
Military units gain +5% attack for each type of friendly military unit in the zone (max +25%).
Gain +3 Happiness if you have a Warchief and +1 Happiness per upgraded military camp.
Improves your Warchief's attack and defense by 25%.
Improves your military units' attack by 10% against Draconic units and by 30% against other mystical creatures. Also increases Military Experience gains by 50% for each mystical creature killed.
Miners extract ore from deposits 30% faster.
Your Trade Routes produce +100% Kröwns.
Reveals the position of all neutral factions (without removing the fog of war).
All Trade Routes give you +3 Lore. Trade Routes with neutral factions earn you 20% more Kröwns and +20% more relationship.
Increases Loremaster production by 40%. Your next Carved Stone is free.
Reduces prices on the Marketplace by 50% and stock replenishment is 20% faster.
Trade Routes earn 20% more Kröwns. Relations with neutral factions improve 20% faster.
Relic
The Kraken clan has its own Relic, the Edda of Vör. Given by Vör, wise and curious, so that no one can hide anything from her.
- This Relic allows your Norns to earn Fame.
- When the Relic is built, it gives 1000 .
