The Clan of the Snake. Cunning and deceitful, the Snake has little regard for fame or honor. Members of the clan prefer working in the shadows and using guerilla tactics rather than open warfare.
This Clan benefits from harassment tactics and an aggressive hit and run playstyle. Additionally, the Stolen Lore allows adaptability for otherwise adverse situations.
Starting Bonuses[]
- You don't have access to
Fame, but can copy Knowledge from any clan you encounter.
- You start with your warchief, the young
Signy. She grows up each year, getting stringer and gaining new powers.
Signy can use Scorched Earth to gain military advantage and steal resources from neutral zones. You can burn more zones as she grows stronger.

Bonuses[]
- The Clan of the Snake does not have access to
Fame nor the Fame Victory. Instead, Signy grows more powerful over time.
Specific bonuses:
- Age 16 (801) : Raised by Wolves
- Signy gains Cloaked. When Signy uses Scorched Earth, all creatures (Excluding neutral factions or special enemies) in that zone flee to adjacent zones and reveal these in the process.
- Age 17 (802) : Shadow of the Wild
- Signy is 50% stronger. Scorched Earth can be used on 2 zones at the same time.
- Age 18 (803) : Tears of the Earth
- Signy can use Scorched Earth now in Enemy territory.
- Burned zone: All production in that tile is reduced by 50%. Additionally, Snake's unit's and buildings gain +50% attack power
while they are in a tile that is affected by Scorched Earth. While Signy is casting Scorched Earth, her defense
is increased by 100%. When not in allied territory Signy also loots resources.

Conquest[]
In "conquest" mode, all clans play a series of 11 maps. The first, middle, and last maps in the sequence give hard-coded, clan-specific bonuses; the other maps randomly generate generic bonuses (which may or may not affect clan-specific units/buildings). The special bonuses for this individual clan are as follows:
- Skirmishers +50% attack power and defense.
- Signy gets +20% attack power and defense, and +25 health.
- The limit of simultaneous Scorched Earth zones is multiplied by 2.
