Winter

Winter occurs every year and lasts for 3 months (December - February)

• Food production is reduced and Wood consumption is increased.
  • Wood consumption can be reduced by 50% by using Sheep, by having at least one per Tile (whether or not it is in a Sheepfold). When several Sheep are in the same zone, this bonus increases (but multiplicatively).
  • Wood consumption can be reduced by 50% by using the Lore Hearthstone

• Military units have a 30% reduction in power when fighting outside your territory and 10% inside your territory.
  • This effect can be negated with the Lore: Fur Coats.
  • The bear clan does not suffer from this reduction, but instead gains 10% resistance.
